The European School in Instrumentation for Particle and Astroparticle Physics (ESIPAP) is opening.
The organization of  ESIPAP is very similar to that of JUAS, the Joint University Accelerator School.
Like JUAS, it will be based at ESI in Archamps (France) next to Geneva.

Although ESIPAP was founded by the laboratory of excellence ENIGMASS, it will recruit worldwide
Master and Ph.D. students as long as professionals seeking continuing education in instrumentation.

ESIPAP is split in two modules of one month each, that can be prepared the same year or separately.
All lectures will end by proper knowledge evaluations of the students. As a consequence, ESIPAP will
delivers ECTS  that can be recognized in European university  training programs.

As JUAS , ESIPAP seek to develop partnerships with European universities.
This is already the case with the universities of Strasbourg , Grenoble , Savoie and INP Grenoble.
Discussions are ongoing with other organizations, in particular with CERN where lab sessions will
be organized.

--> The first session of ESIPAP will be held from 20 January to 15 March 2014 <--
--> The deadline for  applications is 22 November 2013 <--

More information and an application form are available at:  www.cern.ch/esipap
