PhD opening at Aix Marseille University (Marie Sklodowska-Curie / DOC2AMU actions) for the improvement of recovery, measurement and recycling of xenon in clinical anaesthesia

Aix-Marseille University has on its portal the notification of the following PhD opening:
 
"STUDIES FOR IMPROVED RECOVERY, MEASUREMENT AND RECYCLING OF XENON IN CLINICAL ANAESTHESIA"
 
under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie actions for cofunding regional, national and international programmes (COFUND).

The study will be undertaken in collaboration with the AMU Physical Sciences and Chemistry doctoral schools in the "DOC2AMU" programme 
and will involve the development of new nanoporous structures for the capture for recycling of xenon used in clinical anaesthesia, together  with improved measurements of Xenon-based anaesthetic gas mixtures using ultrasonics. 
 
Part of the work will be carried out in collaboration with the Swansea University / University of Wales Morriston Hospital department of anaesthetics.
 
The window will run till April 9th, after which a selection will be made among the candidatures received. The start of the PhD is foreseen for October 1st.
