1) The experimental relativistic heavy ion group at Ben Gurion University of the Negev (Be’er Sheva, Israel) invites applications for a postdoctoral position. The successful candidate will work on analyzing heavy-ion data collected by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC, as well as participating in future data taking. The focus of analysis is expected to touch on electroweak boson and/or heavy quarkonium. In addition to data analysis, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on detector development projects.

In addition to work on the Zero Degree Calorimeter, the candidate will also have the opportunity to perform data analysis on a variety of topics within the heavy-ion group of the ATLAS experiment.
