    • Measures in Switzerland: The full details of the recent measures for Switzerland can be found here.

    • Travel:
      • France updated its classification of countries as green, orange or red on 23 September. The current classification, along with details of conditions for international travel, is available at the page here.
      • As of 20 September, in light of the epidemiological situation, the Federal Council has implemented new measures with regards to conditions of entry into Switzerland. The full press release can be found here.

            • Virtual, VIP and press visits are already taking place regularly.

            • ALICE underground visits: are now open to people having a valid CERN access card, with a limited number of visitors, and in respect of special COVID rules. The guidelines are documented here.

            • ALICE Virtual Visits: are announced in the official CERN catalogue. A list of open virtual visits is announced in the Visits link.

ALICE needs volunteers for virtual as well as underground visits. Virtual visits require having 2 or 3 guides. If interested, please get in touch with  alice-visits, or alice-outreach-virtual-visits
            • Recent visits:
              • 29 Sep 2021: joint ALICE - ATLAS virtual visit for Greek Schools, organised by NTUA (Athens), on the occasion of European Researchers’ Night

            • CERN Alumni Second Collisions (1-3 October): CERN alumni are invited to come together for the second major reunion since CERN’s alumni programme launched in 2017. The event will take place online, enabling alumni from across the globe to participate.
