Experimental Relativistic Heavy-Ion Nuclear Physics

The Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Kansas seeks applicants for a tenure-track assistant professor position in the field of experimental relativistic heavy-ion nuclear physics.

The position is expected to begin as early as August 18, 2013. Candidates who complement the existing programs in experimental nuclear physics are encouraged to apply. A Ph.D. or ABD in Physics or a closely related field is expected by start date of appointment. A strong record of research and commitment to excellence in teaching are required. A start-up package is included.
