Tenure track positions at the Physics Institute, UNAM (IF-UNAM), Mexico.
The Experimental Nuclear and High Energy Group (GENAE) of IF-UNAM calls your attention to the recent opening of new tenure-track positions for young researchers in several fields of physics, among
them: High Energy Physics and Particle Astrophysics.
Mexico´s National Autonomous University (UNAM) is the largest science-education/research institution in Latin-America, and IF-UNAM is the first physics institute in the country. GENAE participated in the design, construction, and operation of the V0A trigger detector for ALICE, and shall reinforce this effort during the improvement and upgrade of this important instrument. Participation in the group’s data analyses interests in quark matter phenomenology and the production of (anti)nuclei, among other projects, is also expected.
