Postdoctoral Associate to work on the CMS experiment at the LHC

The Cornell Laboratory for Accelerator-based Sciences and Education
(CLASSE) at Cornell University has a least one opening for a
Postdoctoral Associate to work on the CMS experiment at the LHC.
The Cornell group is involved in a broad array of activities,
including CMS pixel detector re-commissioning, phase 1 pixel detector
upgrades, and phase 2 upgrades for the HL-LHC, including track
trigger software and hardware, tracker development, and GPU integration
into the CMS software. On the data analysis side we are working on
Higgs and top physics, and searches for Beyond the Standard Model
physics. A PhD in experimental high energy physics is required.
Appointments are nominally for one year with the possibility of
renewal up to five years total, subject to mutual satisfaction and
the availability of funds under our NSF grant. Applications should
