The Laboratoire Leprince-Ringuet (LLR) invites applications for a postdoctoral position in particle physics with the CMS experiment. The LLR is a laboratory of the IN2P3 (CNRS) and the école polytechnique, one of the engineering schools of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IPP). It is dedicated to fundamental research in high-energy particle physics and astroparticle physics. Its members work on the LHCb and CMS experiments at the LHC, the T2K, Super-K and Hyper-K neutrino experiments in Japan, and in FERMI, HESS and CTA for gamma-ray astronomy.

The successful candidate will be expected to work on measurements of the Higgs boson and the electroweak sector of the standard model, in addition to R&D and system tests for the high-granularity calorimeter. He or she will also have the opportunity to actively participate in data taking during the ongoing LHC Run 3. In these different areas, the successful candidate will be working with several PhD students.
