Post-doc Research Associate

Relativistic Heavy Ion Collision Experiment

Purdue University

A post-doctoral research associate position is immediately available in the High Energy Nuclear Physics group at Purdue University.

The Purdue group is studying relativistic heavy-ion collisions as a member of the RHIC-STAR and LHC-CMS experiments. Our primary physics interests are in the areas of particle correlations and heavy flavor production to elucidate the properties of high-density QCD. The successful candidate is expected to lead a significant physics initiative and/or hardware project. This appointment is for one year, renewable up to three years. A Ph.D. in physics or a related field is required at time of appointment. Applicants should send their curriculum vitae and arrange for three letters of reference to be sent to Prof. Fuqiang Wang at fqwang@purdue.edu.

Purdue University is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
