Lectureship in experimental Sustainable Technology at University of Liverpool

The University of Liverpool invites applications for a Lecturer (Teaching & Research) in the Department of Physics whose research is in experimental Sustainable Technology for large scale research infrastructures or related areas.
 

The University is seeking candidates who can work closely with strategic partners to make current and future large-scale experiments more sustainable, meeting the challenges of the 21st century. Candidates who have an emerging or existing track record in experimental sustainable technology, including sensors and detectors, computing, magnets for accelerators, light sources technology, energy recovery linacs, or related areas, are particularly welcome. In addition, candidates who have demonstrated the ability to attract research funding and a passion for teaching, as well as initial experience in PhD and undergraduate student supervision, are preferred.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach a range of lectures, laboratory classes, and tutorials. The exact teaching duties, as well as the most appropriate grade within the advertised range, will be determined based on the candidate's background, experience, and ability.

The minimum requirement for this position is a PhD in Physics or a related discipline.
