Lectureship in experimental Quantum Sensors and Technology at University of Liverpool

The University of Liverpool invites applications for a Lecturer (Teaching & Research) in the Department of Physics whose research is in experimental Quantum Sensors and Technology or related areas. Ideally, this would be aligned with the STFC¿s Quantum Technologies for Fundamental Physics (QTFP) program.

The University is looking for candidates with an emerging track record in research that complement and grow our current activities. We would particularly welcome candidates who:

- Have an emerging or existing track record in experimental quantum technology, including quantum sensing, quantum information, applied quantum technology or related areas;

- Work in a research area that is synergetic with our existing research activities;

- Have demonstrated the ability to attract research funding;

- Have a passion for teaching and gained initial experience in PhD and undergraduate student supervision.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach a range of lectures, laboratory classes and tutorials. Exact teaching duties as well as the most appropriate grade within the advertised range will be agreed on the basis of background, experience and ability.
