Editorial Board Chair
|
Message from ALICE Spokesperson: Dear Colleagues, Since Javier Castillo’s mandate as co-chair of the Editorial Board (EB) expires at the end of July this year, I am starting to look for a new co-chair to join Francesco Prino in this function by the summer. As you know, the EB oversees and organises all aspects of our publications, in close collaboration with the Physics Working groups and Physics Coordination. While the full board is involved in reviewing the final versions of our manuscripts before they go to the collaboration, the chairs perform most of the day-to-day tasks to organise the review and publication process. Please let me know by private e-mail if you would like to suggest someone for this role, or if you would be interested to become active in this role yourself. The role provides a unique insight into our full publication process and the opportunities to be closely involved in the dissemination of a wide variety of physics results. It also requires a significant fraction of the research time of the person accepting the role. In order to move forward with the process, I would like to ask for your input as soon as possible, latest by the end of next week, Friday 3rd March. Best regards, Marco |
