The ALICE Trigger Coordination is in charge of the preparation and operation of the ALICE Trigger Systems (central trigger system and trigger detectors), as well as the development and operation of the software algorithms for the selection of events in the O2 system. The Trigger Coordinator and his deputies coordinate with the Run Coordinator, the Physics Board, the Technical Board and the Management Board to optimise the trigger configuration and data-taking strategies in order to address the physics goals of the Collaboration.
