PostDoc position at Universität Zürich

We are looking for a young, brilliant and enthusiastic postdoc to work in a new

LHCb group at Universität Zürich. The group will collaborate with the existing

LHCb group and be active in the search for new physics measuring rare B-meson

decays and in the LHCb upgrade.

The analysis activities will include angular analyses of b->sll electroweak

transitions; other analyses will be discussed with the successful candidate.

As a contribution to the LHCb detector upgrade, we will be involved in the design

and construction of a silicon micro-strip based tracking station in front of the LHCb

dipole magnet (UT).

The PostDoc is expected to conduct leading research in both areas with a large

degree of independency and initiative and will be required to supervise students.
