Applications are being accepted now for the last few MCnet short-term studentships, these are open to all students studying for a PhD in particle physics.  PhD students in experimental particle physics studying anywhere in the world who would benefit from working alongside one of our teams are strongly encouraged to apply.

The remaining studentships are available for a period of three or four months, to start by 1st June 2021.  Applications can be submitted at any time.  Early applications are welcome, the cut-off date for applications is 31st March 2021.

Due to the current Covid-19 situation, remote working may be possible where appropriate for the project. Students are therefore encouraged to apply even if it is not yet certain it will be possible to travel to start the project in person.

You will find further information about these studentships, the MCnet projects and the application process at:  https://www.montecarlonet.org/short-studentship

Before applying, we recommend that you contact the lead scientist at the appropriate institute or team to discuss your project proposal.

If you cannot find the information you need on the website please contact Mike Seymour, MCnet Scientist-in-Charge, michael.seymour@manchester.ac.uk or Ann Durie, MCnet Network Project Manager, ann.durie@manchester.ac.uk
