The Spokesperson Election Search Committee (SPESC) has scheduled the Q&A sessions for the two Spokesperson candidates for the election that will take place during the March ALICE Week.
The Q&A sessions will take place one week before the ALICE Week, at the following times:
- Marco Van Leeuwen: Wednesday 23th February 15h-17h CERN Time ; https://indico.cern.ch/event/1122957/
- Barbara Erazmus: Friday 25th February 15h-17h CERN Time; https://indico.cern.ch/event/1123293/
The two candidates will provide election statements that will be attached to the indico pages above. We will communicate shortly about it.
To have a structured discussion we would like to ask you all to send questions that you would like to pose to the candidates, to us (the SPESC) at ALICE-SPESC-2022@cern.ch.
You can send these questions as individuals, but you can also group them by institute or send them via the Junior Representatives.
In that way, we will combine similar questions into related topics, and make sure the session runs efficiently with as many answered questions as possible. Of course, there should also be room for spontaneous questions that come up at the time of the session.
Questions should reach us by Thursday 17 February at 12:00 CET at the latest.
In addition, the Committee will record both of the sessions for the benefit of those who are not able to join the sessions live. Links to the recordings will be made available to all ALICE members as soon as possible after the sessions conclude.
