We are happy to announce an opening for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Relativistic Heavy Ion Group at Yale University. Our group is involved in research in the ALICE Collaboration at CERN and the STAR Collaboration at BNL. We also have ongoing R&D projects at Yale Wright Laboratory as members of the ePIC Collaboration at the future EIC.

The successful candidate will play a major role in data taking and data analysis for the ALICE experiment at the LHC. There are also opportunities to be involved in R&D projects for ePIC. The candidate should have a Ph.D. in experimental nuclear physics and a strong background in data analysis. The position is available starting in fall of 2023 and is initially for 1 year, renewable for up to 3 years, contingent upon satisfactory performance, availability of funding, and mutual agreement.

Interested candidates can email Prof. Laura Havener (laura.havener@yale.edu) for more information. Please include a CV and provide three letters of recommendation. For more information on the Relativistic Heavy Ion Group at Yale please see our website: https://rhig.physics.yale.edu/
