The Purdue High Energy Nuclear Physics group studies relativistic heavy-ion collisions as members of the RHIC-STAR and LHC-CMS experiments. Our primary physics interests are in the areas of particle correlations and heavy flavor production to elucidate the properties of high-density QCD. A post-doctoral research associate position is available within the group for CMS. The position can start as early as January 1, 2015, and applications are open until the position is filled.

Postdoctoral research position on the LHCb Experiment

The Centre de Physique des Particules de Marseille (France) is seeking a postdoctoral research

assistant, having an experience between 3 and 5 years (including PhD), to work on the LHCb

experiment.

The postdoctoral research project consists in the study of rare decays of B mesons into tau leptons

with the LHCb detector. Contrary to the rare decays with muons in the final state, they are still

The Cornell Laboratory for Accelerator-based Sciences and Education
(CLASSE) at Cornell University has a least one opening for a
Postdoctoral Associate to work on the CMS experiment at the LHC.
The Cornell group is involved in a broad array of activities,
including CMS pixel detector re-commissioning, phase 1 pixel detector
upgrades, and phase 2 upgrades for the HL-LHC, including track
trigger software and hardware, tracker development, and GPU integration

PhD Program
