The area of interest is the experimental particle physics research conducted at the Large Hadron Collider with the CMS experiment.

China Scholarship Council - University of Liverpool Scholarship Programme

The CSC-UoL scholarship is a joint scholarship programme for postgraduate research students, which is jointly overseen by China Scholarship Council (CSC) and the University of Liverpool (UoL). It was established in early 2010 and extended recently in 2019 for another 5-years with an annual allowance of 30 full-time PhD positions to the University of Liverpool.

Further extensions are possible subject to performance and funding. There is funding available to be based at CERN for an extended period, or in Manchester with occasional travel to CERN as needed.
