The successful candidate will belong to the Institute of Particle and Nuclear Studies and work as a “Beam Background Mitigation Expert” of the Belle II experiment for researches to control the beam induced background from SuperKEKB accelerator to the Belle II detector.

High Energy Nuclear Physics Postdoctoral Research Associate
The Physics Department has an opening for a Research Associate/Postdoc for a two year term assignment. You will work closely with scientists in the PHENIX group to finalize high priority PHENIX analyses, such as measurements of prompt dileptons and direct photons, and of the nuclear modification and flow of charm and bottom quarks. Responsibilities will also include the support of ongoing data analysis and contributions to long term data preservation.
The ATLAS group of TU Dresden, Germany, has an open position for a PhD student to work on digital signal processing with artificial neural networks on FPGAs for the ATLAS LAr Calorimeter.
