The Hadronic Physics Group within the Laboratory for Nuclear Science at MIT is seeking a qualified postdoctoral associate to help in the development of a high rate, scalable readout system for future nuclear physics experiments. The candidate should have a recent PhD in experimental nuclear physics with experience and an aptitude for electronics and FPGA, GPU, or similar programming. Familiarity with VME or ATCA systems would also be an advantage.

The experimental heavy ion group at the University of Colorado Boulder is seeking to hire a Postdoctoral Research Associate to conduct research with The Colorado group is involved in the Heavy Ions program at the ATLAS experiment at the LHC and with the proposed sPHENIX detector at RHIC. The candidate is expected to take a leading role in data analysis within ATLAS Heavy Ions and to make technical contributions to the overall experimental effort.

The experimental nuclear physics group at Iowa State University invites applications for a post-doctoral position to work on the sPHENIX experiment at Brookhaven National Laboratory’s Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider.
