The Van Swinderen Institute at the University of Groningen (Netherlands) is searching for an enthusiastic early-career physicist with a strong track record in experimental particle physics to join the LHCb research group in Groningen. The person will be hired as an assistant professor in the tenure track system of the university, which upon a positive assessment will lead to a tenured position.
The Glasgow LHCb group is seeking applicants to make a leading contribution to LHCb data analysis. We currently have strong activities in CP violation and mixing studies in beauty and charm decays, measurements with semi-leptonic beauty hadron decays including lepton universality tests and heavy flavour spectroscopy. Your work is expected to further our involvement in semi-leptonic beauty hadron decays, though a secondary interest in other areas will be considered, especially if you have a strong existing involvement.
The Glasgow ATLAS group is seeking applicants to make leading contributions to the ATLAS experiment. The group has strong analysis activities in Higgs boson physics, top quark physics and Standard Model measurements. The group is also heavily involved in the operation and upgrade of the ATLAS detector, through contributions to the ATLAS trigger, simulation and the ITK. The successful candidate will be expected to lead novel analyses in Higgs boson physics, including top-associated Higgs production.
Applications are invited for a Research Associate position in Experimental Particle Physics within the Particle Physics Department (PPD) at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (RAL) of the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC), to work on the Electron-Ion Collider experiment planned for Brookhaven, USA. The post is for two years and will be based primarily at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory.
The Experimental High Energy Physics group at Universitat de Barcelona is looking for a postdoc and a PhD student to work on LHCb data analysis and Real Time Analysis software, in the context of the ERC-StG CLIMB.
The LHCb group at the I. Physics Institute of RWTH Aachen led by Prof. Dr. Stefan Schael is opening a post-doc position in the field of experimental particle physics, focused on R&D for the LHCb Upgrade II detector and in the analysis of the data collected by the LHCb experiment at CERN.
The University of Groningen is looking for a highly motivated PhD student in experimental physics with an interest in studying the properties of exotic nuclei relevant for nuclear astrophysics.
