Krystian is a young physicist from WUT in Poland. He joined ALICE in 2016, where he specialized in data analysis using femtoscopy techniques. In 2022, Krystian became part of the FIT team and made significant contributions to the development of the FIT Detector Control System (DCS). As a result, in 2024, he was appointed FIT DCS Technical Coordinator.
Since 2022, he has also held the position of FIT System Run Coordinator, gaining valuable experience in ALICE operations and data acquisition. He is also experienced in Run Management, as this is his second mandate.
During his current mandate, Krystian will oversee the first commissioning period with initial collisions, as well as the finalization of ALICE commissioning through the running of SYNTHETIC and REPLAY data. He will also face the challenge of organizing data taking for the first proton-proton collisions of the year, at 900 GeV, during his mandate.
