Working with the LHCb group at the University of Glasgow you will take a leading role in the analysis of data from the LHCb experiment and make substantial contributions to the development and construction of the LHCb VELO upgrade. You will also contribute to the operation of the current LHCb VELO detector during Run II data taking.

Possessing a Ph.D. (or equivalent) in particle physics experiment or phenomenology and experience with particle physics data analysis the successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications and research proposals as well as help manage and direct this complex and challenging project as opportunities allow.
