The Department of Physics of the University of Florida's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences invites applications for a full-time, nine-month, tenure-accruing position at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning August 16, 2022. The area of interest is the experimental particle physics research conducted at the Large Hadron Collider with the CMS experiment. Applicants will have a Ph.D. in Physics.

China Scholarship Council - University of Liverpool Scholarship Programme

The CSC-UoL scholarship is a joint scholarship programme for postgraduate research students, which is jointly overseen by China Scholarship Council (CSC) and the University of Liverpool (UoL). It was established in early 2010 and extended recently in 2019 for another 5-years with an annual allowance of 30 full-time PhD positions to the University of Liverpool.

 The Department of Physics at The Ohio State University anticipates a tenure-track Assistant Professor appointment effective Autumn 2022 in the research area of experimental accelerator-based nuclear physics. We envision a candidate who will initiate new efforts at a next-generation facility such as the Electron Ion Collider (EIC) or the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams (FRIB). In addition to large dedicated laboratory space, the faculty member will benefit through interactions with a strong nuclear theory group with leaders in RHIC, FRIB and EIC physics.

Postdoctoral Researcher position on the LHCb experiment at the University of Manchester

The University of Manchester has a postdoctoral researcher position available on the LHCb experiment. The post is for an initial period of two years starting in October. Further extensions are possible subject to performance and funding. There is funding available to be based at CERN for an extended period, or in Manchester with occasional travel to CERN as needed.
