The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Rutgers University invites applications for a postdoctoral position (or research associate) in
experimental nuclear physics, to conduct research with Prof. Sevil Salur. The researcher is expected to collaborate on studies of relativistic heavy
ion collisions delivered by RHIC and LHC focusing on the measurement of high momentum particles, including jet reconstruction, to study the properties of deconfined quark-gluon matter.  The position is initially for two years, starting as soon as the position is filled, and can be renewed based upon satisfactory performance and availability of funding. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in physics or expect to receive one before
their start date.
