the candidate will also play a major role in detector projects the Rice
group is involved in, including the CMS Data Acquisition System and a
new Mip Timing Detector for particle identification at CMS in the HL-LHC era.

Applicants must have, or be about to obtain, a Ph.D. in experimental nuclear
or particle physics. Qualified candidates should apply electronically
here: http://jobs.rice.edu/postings/17520 and arrange for three letters
of reference to be sent by e-mail to: Prof. Wei Li at wl33@rice.edu.

The position will remain open until it is filled. The start date is negotiable.
