The experimental particle physics group (PPE) at the University of Edinburgh has a vacancy for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work on silicon detector development in the experimental particle physics group. This will include both work on LHCb towards the Mighty Tracker, and generic R&D towards small-pitch LGAD detectors for a range of applications.
The post is initially set to last three years, with the possibility for extension. The deadline for applications is set for 24 February 2023.
