Research Associate position on T2K at the University of Glasgow

The School of Physics & Astronomy is looking for a Research Associate to make a leading contribution to the T2K experiment at the University of Glasgow, working with Professor Paul Soler and Dr Phillip Litchfield. Specifically, the job requires expert knowledge in particle physics and/or instrumentation, with experience in the simulation and analysis of particle physics data, and/or experience in building detector systems for particle physics experiments. The successful candidate will contribute to the physics goals of the T2K project, including analysis of neutrino interactions in both the ND280 and WAGASCI/BabyMIND near detectors and/or neutrino oscillation analyses between the near and far detectors of T2K. You will help in the formulation and submission of research publications and future research proposals. The successful candidate will also help supervise PhD and other project students and will assist with managing the project.
