The Physics Department of Brookhaven National Lab has an opening for a Research Associate position at the sPHENIX Group.
The main focus is to develop a machine-learning online computing system based on novel AI accelerators, and its application in the sPHENIX experiment and EIC. The successful candidate could also take a significant role in the existing research activities in which the group has a strong presence, such as physics analyses within the sPHENIX and ATLAS physics program, and EIC detector R&D.
