Postdoc opening in CMS at the University of Alabama

The successful candidate will join the UA CMS group that is involved in measurements of the top quark properties and searches for physics beyond the Standard Model with top quarks in the final state, as well as Phase-II detector upgrades. Additionally, the University of Alabama is involved in direct dark matter detection, the intensity frontier and particle astrophysics experiments (IceCube, Exo-200, LZ, MiniBoone, MoEDAL and VERITAS experiments) as well as high-energy theory and phenomenology.

Applicants should have a PhD (or be near completion of a PhD) in High-Energy Physics or in a closely related discipline. Previous experience in high-energy physics analysis and machine learning will be considered an asset.

The position is based at Fermilab or at CERN.
