ONGOING AND UPCOMING EVENTS

CCC (30 October 2023): soon after the last collisions of 2023, representatives from the LHC experiments met with the LHC accelerator teams thanking them for the excellent job done during the heavy-ion runs. ALICE was represented by Sarah Porteboeuf, Andrea Ferrero and Kai Schweda.

- 4th ALICE Upgrade week: 4-7 December 2023 in Torino
- ALICE Physics Forum: Wednesday 15 Nov 2023: Morning sessions consist of several paper proposals and the afternoon sessions will have "Status of Run 3 analyses" from varous PWGs.
The last Physics Forum this year will take place on 13 December.

- YETS 2023-2024 is ongoing, software upgrade are organised every week
- 50 EPNs are online for detector commissioning
- 2023 Operation Closeout meeting: 14 November 2023
- Accelerator Report: Exploring performance potential for future benefit: The year-end technical stop (YETS) officially started on 30 October, with promising performance tests in Linac4. The injection of the first 2024 LHC beam is scheduled for 11 March 2024

DIVERSITY
- LGBTQ+ in STEM Day at CERN: Pride Flag Raising: LGBTQ+ in STEM Day is an annual celebration of LGBTQ+ people in STEM disciplines across the world every 18th of November. This year, the CERN Directorate approved a request to raise a LGBTQIA+ Pride flag at CERN's Esplanade on Friday 17 November in lieu of the official LGBTQ+ in STEM Day, Saturday 18 November.
- "Work well feel well: No, no… it’s OK… Developing an awareness of health indicators": While a healthy amount of stress can provide motivation and drive, when work commitments are high, stress can negatively impact our health. It's essential to put measures in place to protect our health from the harmful effects of chronic stress.
