Nicolas is a PhD student at the University of Frankfurt. His research focuses on neutral pion production in light-ion collisions, aiming to measure energy loss in oxygen-oxygen collisions. In addition to utilizing EMCal data for this analysis, he also serves as the SRC for the detector. As to the operations, he is experienced in all the central roles, and already served as Run Manager in 2025.
During his term as the Run Manager, Nicolas collaborates on the crucial phase of the intensity ramp-up, where different special runs are scheduled, toward the beginning of pp physics production.
