YouTube Video on the Start of LHC Run3: 5 July 2022
July 5, 2022: It was a flawless start of the Large Hadron Collider at CERN reaching the highest energy proton-proton collisions at 13.6 TeV at 16:45 hrs. After years of preparation, we started taking data with a fully revamped ALICE detector recording the first 13.6 TeV collisions of Run 3.
The launch of the LHC Run 3 was streamed live on CERN’s social media channels and by high-quality Eurovision satellite links.
