Post-doctoral Associate on CMS Relativistic Heavy-Ion Physics at Rice University

Submitted by gpachoud on

The experimental relativistic heavy-ion physics group at Rice University
invites applications for a postdoctoral research associate position.
The Rice group is involved in the CMS experiment at the LHC and STAR
experiment at RHIC. The successful candidate is expected to play a leading
role in our physics analysis effort of CMS heavy ion program.

Postdoc position open on CMS heavy-ion physics

Relativistic Heavy-Ion Collisions, LHC-CMS Experiment
The Purdue High Energy Nuclear Physics group studies relativistic
heavy-ion collisions as members of the RHIC-STAR and LHC-CMS
experiments. Our primary physics interests are in the areas of particle
correlations and heavy flavor production to elucidate the properties of
high-density QCD and the QGP. A post-doctoral research associate
position is available within the group for CMS.
