PhD student position in experimental particle physics (LHCb)

Applications are invited for a PhD student position at the Laboratory for High Energy Physics (LPHE, lphe.epfl.ch) of the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). The successful candidate will work on the LHCb experiment where the EPFL high-energy physics group is strongly involved. LHCb is a particle physics experiment running at CERN's Large Hadron Collider and dedicated to the study of heavy flavour physics and CP violation.

The John Adams Institute for Accelerator Science at the University of Oxford and Diamond Light Source Ltd. are seeking a highly qualified post-doctoral research assistant to carry out research in the area of accelerator physics and in particular ultra low emittance storage rings for synchrotron light sources.
