The annual call for Ph.D. fellowships at the University of Bari (XXXV cycle of the Ph.D. school in physics) is open till July the 25th . Two fellowships are reserved to foreign citizens (not resident in Italy at the moment of the application). A master degree in physics is required for the participation to the selection and a proposal of the research activity has to be presented along with two letters of recommendations.

The Nuclear Physics group at Daresbury has a vacancy for a physicist to work with the UK NP community to deliver world-leading science and instrumentation.  
You will be leading and developing programmes of research in nuclear physics that align with the STFC roadmap for the subject. You will be leading an internationally competitive research programme in the field of nuclear physics. Interacting regularly with members of the UK nuclear physics community and their overseas collaborators, in order to stay at the forefront of the field.
