The High Energy Nuclear Physics group at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP) is hiring a postdoctoral researcher to work in heavy-ion physics with focus on phenomenological and theoretical aspects of relativistic heavy-ion collisions. Previous experience and in hydrodynamical simulations applied to heavy-ion collisions is desirable.

The ALICE Trieste Group at the Physics Department of the University of Trieste, Italy, is hiring a postdoc to work on silicon detector R&D for ITS3, ALICE 3, and further applications. The research will mostly take place at the University of Trieste. PhD Research Fellow in detector physics (associated with the ALICE experiment)

The candidate will primarily contribute to testing and characterization of detector prototypes, investigating detector performance parameters such as energy resolution and shower evolution. During the project, the candidate is expected to take part in beam tests and contribute to both data analysis and detector simulation.
