        Here are details of Level 2. For the complete picture, please consult the link here. The main features are:

        • On-site working becomes the norm with teleworking possible according to OC7 with 40% of contractual hours telework normally permitted in any two-week period. Further flexibility, with teleworking up to 60% per week in consultation with supervisors, is possible where office occupancy measures require it;
        • The wearing of masks is required;
        • Proximeters must be carried at all times on-site;
        • Specific arrangements are possible for those with vulnerabilities, and those living with people with vulnerabilities;
        • Office sharing should be avoided, and specific measures apply where it cannot;
        • Meetings in person, both indoors and outdoors, must be limited to a maximum of 200 people, though a dedicated protection plan may be required if the number exceeds 30 (see the room managers for details);
        • Duty travel is permitted;
        • Club activities are authorised.

      • Self-testing at CERN for those without symptoms. Self test available also at ALICE Point-2. You are encouraged to take a test at least once per week. You must have completed beforehand the eLearning: COVID-19 - Self-testing at CERN / Auto-tests au CERN and you must sign-up for each self-test using the PLAMED tool.

      • COVID-19 vaccination at CERN (new arrangements): a reduced vaccination service is available by appointment only at the infirmary until the end of March. Those interested in receiving a vaccine should register for an appointment on PLAMED. Please note that vaccination slots are limited to certain days and times, according to demand.
        Appointments can be made for vaccination in France and Switzerland using the links for France, Geneva, and Vaud.

      • Measures in France:  as of 14 March, wearing masks will no longer be mandatory except on public transport and in hospitals and other health centres. The requirement to present one’s pass vaccinal will also to be lifted as of that date. Details on the link here (updated on 3 March).

      • Measures in Switzerland: There have been no further changes to the measures in place in Switzerland since those announced by the Federal Council on 16 February: please consult the link here.

        • Travel:
          • France: There have been no changes since last week to the conditions for international travel to and from France, which are available here. People arriving in France must still complete a declaration form, which is available here in several languages.

          • Switzerland: There have been no changes to the conditions for international travel to and from Switzerland since the last email. Information on entering Switzerland is available here.
