The ALICE Collaboration participates in Quark Matter 2023 Conference at Houston (3-9 September) with 1 plenary overview, 30 parallel and 60 poster presenters. The plenary overview on 3 Sep by Ionut Cristian Arsene reports the highlights of new ALICE measurements including first results from Run 3 data collected in 2022 with the upgraded detector.

- LHC restarted extremely efficiently: Machine behaves in the same conditions as before the incident. On wednesday beam circulated at first attempt and collisions were found immediately.
- Friday, 1 September: 4 hours of STABLE BEAM at injection energy (900 GeV) during which ALICE recommissionned all systems in preparation for Heavy Ion.
