The Laboratoire Leprince-Ringuet (LLR) invites applications for a postdoctoral position in particle physics with the CMS experiment. The LLR is a laboratory of the IN2P3 (CNRS) and the école polytechnique, one of the engineering schools of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IPP). It is dedicated to fundamental research in high-energy particle physics and astroparticle physics.

Postdoc Opening at the University of Alabama

Submitted by alicesec on

he University of Alabama’s MoEDAL group is looking for an active, self-motivated researcher with a background in experimental particle physics. The group is playing a leading role in the searches for magnetic monopoles in Pb-Pb collisions at the LHC and participates in searches for other exotics in p-p collisions. The group is also involved in the installation and commissioning of the MoEDAL’s Apparatus for Penetrating Particles (MAPP) that will search for long-lived and milli-charged particles during the LHC Run-3.
