The High Energy Nuclear Physics group at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP) is hiring a postdoctoral researcher to work in heavy-ion physics with focus on phenomenological and theoretical aspects of relativistic heavy-ion collisions. Previous experience and in hydrodynamical simulations applied to heavy-ion collisions is desirable.
Applications are being accepted now for the last few MCnet short-term studentships, these are open to all students studying for a PhD in particle physics. PhD students in experimental particle physics studying anywhere in the world who would benefit from working alongside one of our teams are strongly encouraged to apply.
As NCN states on it's dedicated website, "POLONEZ BIS is a fellowship programme for experienced researchers, co-funded by the European Commission and the Polish National Science Centre under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND grant. In three calls to be announced in 2021 and 2022, the programme will recruit 120 scientists from all over the world.
The ALICE Trieste Group at the Physics Department of the University of Trieste, Italy, is hiring a postdoc to work on silicon detector R&D for ITS3, ALICE 3, and further applications. The research will mostly take place at the University of Trieste. Work at CERN and test beam facilities is also foreseen.
