The Institute for Nuclear Physics (IKP) of the Faculty of Physics at the University of Münster (WWU) seeks to fill the following position as soon as possible:W1-level assistant professorship in experimental physics.

The assistant professorship is situated in the field of strong interactions in nuclear and particle physics with a focus on experimental activities in heavy-ion collisions at the LHC, CERN and FAIR, GSI Darmstadt (currently under construction).

PhD position opening for instrumentation in ALICE at the University of Oslo

Position as PhD Research Fellow in Instrumentation for high energy physics is available at the Department of Physics.

No one can be appointed for more than one PhD Research Fellowship period at the University of Oslo. Starting date no later than October 1, 2023.

The fellowship period is 3 years. A fourth year may be considered with a workload of 25 % that normally consists of teaching. This is dependent upon the qualification of the applicant and the current needs of the department.
