| Editorial board membership (deadline 22 May):
EB members are in charge of reviewing papers, technical publications, and conference proceedings, as well as participating in the EB meetings. By the end of the year, we will have to replace two EB members. On this occasion, we would like to call for people with expertise on PWG-CF, PWG-JE, PWG-HF, PWG-DQ, detectors, and/or software, but other areas of expertise could also be considered. If you're interested in joining the EB or want to nominate someone, please contact the EB chairs by 22 May. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need further information. |

NEWS FROM POINT 2
- LHC and ALICE
- LHC operated with pp collisions using the full machine configuration (2460b) in the high-mu regime. Two MDs were also performed at the end of the fill, dedicated to collimator settings and coupling measurements.
- ALICE continued successful data taking, with 31.47 pb⁻¹ delivered so far. During the MD phases, the detector was kept in SUPERSAFE + ITS OFF mode, while during data taking, data collection proceeded at 500 kHz with negative/negative magnet polarities. ALICE also performed the MFT special run, dedicated to feasibility studies for Run 4. The High Interaction Rate test was also performed for the TPC to check the Field Cage stability.
